The Funny Company
(1962-63) "The Funny Company" was a series of short, 5-minute CARTOONS about a bunch of enterprising kids doing chores and deeds for local businesses. Distinguishing about this series is that each film contained a short live action film-within-a-film: an educational piece, a story, a song, a how-to segment, or other item of interest to kids. And there are assorted villains, scoundrels and scalawags who never quite prevent them from accomplishing whatever job they set out to do.
There are 10 basic categories of subject matter: Nature, How To, History, People and Countries of the World, The world and Universe, Inventions & Mechanics, Business & Commerce & Industry, People & Things of Interest, Folk Tales, & Songs From All Over the World. It proved a show could be entertaining and educational at the same time.
1962 episodes were made in black and white, while 1963 cartoons are in color. 131 episodes available in Mpeg2, Mpeg4 and 1920*1080 MP4 digital files. Only $2 each for 20 or more.
